A young woman has spent $120,000 to turn herself into a “Dragon Girl.”

In my opinion, one of the best things about being an adult is that you generally have the freedom to do what you want, whenever you want.

This means you can choose how to dress, style your hair, and ultimately decide how you want to show yourself to the world.

It’s a freedom that we all enjoy; something we all appreciate. However, not many of us take our creativity to the extreme like Amber Luke, a woman in her twenties from Australia who has a unique ambition of tattooing her entire body.

According to reports, Amber started her tattoo journey at the age of 16, and her passion for body art has become a significant part of her life.

Over the years, she claims to have spent a staggering $120,000 to transform into what she calls the “Dragon Girl.”

But the journey hasn’t been easy. In fact, a few years ago, when she tattooed her eyeballs, things nearly went horribly wrong.

“Sadly, my artist went too deep into my eyeball. I was blind for three weeks. That was really tough,” she remembered.

Although Amber used to look like the typical blonde girl next door, her extensive body modifications have made her almost unrecognizable today.

In addition to tattooing her eyeballs (and nearly every visible part of her skin), she also had a procedure done to create a forked tongue.

As reported by the Daily Mail, a resident of Brisbane, Australia has spent $120,000 on body modifications, which includes $50,000 for about 600 tattoos and $70,000 for various surgical procedures.

While her unique look might be shocking to some, Amber believes that her transformation has significantly helped her overcome a life filled with depression and thoughts of suicide.

The ‘Dragon Girl’ shared: “I was in such a deep depression, feeling suicidal and like a walking corpse. I felt numb. I disliked myself most of the time – that self-hatred was intense. It haunted me. Now, I’ve completely changed into someone I’m proud to be. I’m a strong woman who knows what she wants and who she is.”

A few years back, Amber shared some photos of her appearance before she started altering her body… and the difference is truly striking.

Amber mentioned that she faced criticism after getting her first tattoo, but that hasn’t deterred her from pursuing her goal of expressing herself through body art. It may not appeal to everyone, but as long as she feels happy and confident in her own skin, that’s what really counts!
