Hulk Hogan’s Cause Of Death Confirmed After Police Investigation

Hulk Hogan’s cause of death has been confirmed.

Police revealed that emergency responders treated the wrestling hero for a cardiac arrest in his house in Clearwater, Florida on 24 July. He sadly passed away in hospital later that day.

Police shared with media that paramedics battled for over an hour to save his life but sadly were unsuccessful. No foul play was suspected.

During a press conference on 24 July, Major Nate Burnside of the Clearwater Police Department explained: “The Clearwater Police Department is conducting a medical investigation, which is standard in these types of cases. There are no signs of foul play or suspicious activity related to this call for service at this time.”

Adding: “Just before 10 AM, Clearwater Police Department responded to a house in the 1000 block of El Dorado Avenue for a medical related call.

“It was discovered at that time that Terry Bollea, also known as Hulk Hogan, was experiencing a serious medical related issue. Personnel provided medical treatment at that time and transported Mr. Bollea to Morton Plant Hospital, where he died at 11:17 AM.”

Records from the the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center read that the 71-year-old died from an acute myocardial infarction, otherwise known as a heart attack.

His medical records stated that he had a history of atrial fibrillation – a heart condition that causes an irregular heartbeat.

He had previously been diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia – a form of cancer.

Before he passed, the WWE star had one last conversation with his estranged daughter, Brooke Hogan.

A source close to the Hogan family revealed: “He was very proud of her, she was his little girl,”, “We still can’t believe he is gone.”

They had been estranged since September 2023 after she refused to attend his wedding to Sky Daily.

Their last interaction allegedly took place two weeks before the wedding, where the 37-year-old told her father she loved him. She allegedly explained that she was concerned for her father and that she wished he would slow down his career due to his health.

When he didn’t listen, he allegedly gave a vague apology.

Source close to Brooke have revealed that she was “grateful” that she was able to say “i love you” to her father -and that she was “at peace” knowing she had done all she could to resolve the fracture in the relationship.

Now, it has been reported that Brooke had asked to be taken out of his will in 2023 as she claimed didn’t want to be involved in the ‘financial mess’ and she didn’t trust his inner circle, according to an insider.

Brooke will still receive money from her father’s life insurance policy that she will allegedly put towards her children’s college fund.

Hogan had previously been spotted in 2023 walking with a cane. Fellow wrestler, Kurt Angle, shared on The Kurt Angle Show: “He had the nerves cut from his lower body. He can’t feel his lower body. So (he) uses his cane to walk around.”

He added: “I thought he was using the cane because he had pain in his back. He doesn’t have any pain. He has nothing at all. He can’t feel anything.”

Hogan is arguably the most influential WWE star in history – known worldwide for his iconic blonde moustache and red headband.

He took the sport from professional wrestling to family entertainment with his outlandish performances and big personality.

WWE have shared their condolences to the star: “WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away.

“One of pop culture’s most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s.

“WWE extends its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends, and fans.”

Hogan – born Terry Bollea, signed with WWE (known as WWF at that time) in 1983 and will go down in history as helping the corporation become the world’s first in ‘sporting entertainment’.

With a career spanning over four decades, his final appearance came on January 6 2025.

The star was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005 before being removed in 2015 following a scandal surrounding racist comments. He was inducted a second time in 2020.

He is survived by his wife, Sky and his children, Nick and Brooke that he shared with his ex-wife, Linda.

RIP.
